If you have traction control I would advise against it... If you do not have the T/C, then you should be all set. Having same size tires takes away from the look of the car BIG TIME! Just be forewarned that you will notice a difference in the overall stance and look of the car!

245/50/18 would be the ideal tire size to use on all 4 corners. I am going to run 245/55/18s on all 4 due to the new availability of very cheap tires in the 245/55/18 size
I think that the stock bigs/littles look is goofy so losing that rake is not a negative thing to me.

Yeah, well... I HATE YOU AVATAR!!! hehehe:beer:
I love the raked look. I had all fours the same size and I didn't like it at all

I am going to update my avatar just for you. It will, however, not be an improvement.

Greeeeaaaaaat... Back to the subject... no thread hi-jacking anymore!
A bigger tire size might look ok... I would be interested to see what it looks like. My car had the same size tires all around, but the were the front tire size, so they looked small on the car. The dealer had it like that when I bought my car.
Did you try a search for this subject?

Is that Kenny Powers?!?!?!
Cool, I will probably still stick with the staggered though... I don't know, I just like it!

Here is my post in a recent thread, showing what stock fronts look like on front and rear, and what stock rears (245/55) looks like on front and rear

The 245/55 on font and rear looks totally fine. The 235/50s on the rear look terrible.

Not too bad actually! I just think the staggered look looks cool... I am an old school hot rod kinda guy and the different size tires, to me, looks good.

You can't be that old school, you're the same age as me. No 'scuses. Very few cars made in our lifetime had staggered wheel/tire sizes, and the ones that were, were not 4 door family cars.

Age has nothing to do with taste in vehicles... I am big into rat rods and original hot rods where it all started... Just cuz I was born in '82 doesn't mean I can't like cars before '82!

I have a 76 Firebird, I am just givin you a hard time. It is like 8 colors but it has a new engine that I hand built under the hood. I guess it might qualify as a rat rod. Aesthetically the car looks like it has been in the woods for 20 years.

I seen a Marauder with 235/50 on all four and when the car was off it looked worse then tj's sig pic. I like the aggressive rake look but the 245s all around dont look bad...more like a police, but its not bad at all.

You have a 2004 Marauder (Silver Birch). The '04 MMs have traction control. You must maintain a size difference of about 3.0% to 6.6% larger diameter (or height) tires on the rear than the fronts or else your Traction Control will go ballistic.
Only other solution is to disengage (i.e. turn off T/C) each and every time you start the car.
BTW -- T/C has saved my azz on at least 2 occasions in wet-slick conditions. Could I have saved it on my own?? Not sure; but T/C helped and kept me out of the body shop. Think about it.
