Probably can't do that ^^^^ for free either without painting it green and mounting a .50 cal on the roof. ;)

A lot of N/A mods or bolting on a good S/C. We are working putting a N/A Marauder into the 12's.

Nope.

What is that old saying? "TINFC130?"

There is no free C130.

so if you tore out the interior for weight reduction...trilogy supercharger.....and a diffrent gear ratio? or do yall suggest i look at a diffrent car i wouldnt mind an old school firebird or 440 dart...im just trying to get fastest 13 second car for the lowest amount of money.....or great bad news the camaro im trying to beat makes 451 horsepower AT THE WHEELS so it means he has a turbo or something

I have a 76 Firebird that I build a 350 chevy, cheap aftermarket iron heads (Sportsman IIs, under $1000 assembled for the heads), flat top pistons, balanced rotating assy., comp retrofit roller cam, 4 speed manual trans. The car was not expensive to build and it will do better than 13s. The engine was under $3000 to build and the car was free. Ugly and fast.

ummm if it's a really making that power, that's closer to an 11 second car, low 12s at the very least... If you aren't lookin to spend money you're in the wrong game sorry

beats me, I have no idea if you can build cheap powerful motors with those. I doubt you can put a lot of power to a 2V for cheap for instance. I was just throwing something cheap out there, I've never gone the cheap motor route personally

I think that the best way to get there would be to buy a really cheap 11 second car and then add some big azz speakers and amp in the trunk. Then add about 100 pounds of sandbags. That oughta get you a cheap 13 second car.

I'm sorry, but I don't believe that there is a car out there for you. It takes serious money to run those times.

However my friend LowbuckMM has only a 100 shot, 4.10's, and an sct and runs 12.9's with street tires.

Best bang for the buck car? If you can afford an '03/04 Cobra don't hesitate to get it. They still pull cash in though, expect to find one in good condition to be asking at least $20k+. But they do make around 400hp to the wheels bone stock, and mods are cheap for them. Get a pulley, dyno tune, exhaust and intake and you'd be in the 12's no problem. Or just get a $1k fox body, find a 302 and build it then go bolt on crazy and have an easy high 12 car.

Yes cause that is obviously super cheap and it just drops right in...

You join a marauder forum.... Asking about what mustangs to buy.....

Really?

I think www.svtperformance.com would kindly and lovingly answer all these great questions for you with expert advice, i suggest you take this question to them! :D

Since this whole thread is purely hypothetical and the OP doesn't even own a car...

How much do you have to spend? A good used Rauder is at around $14K if you are lucky.

Best bet is a used Jap Bike - should be able to do 12's - not cost a fortune.

cheapity cheap power can be found in 80's japanese turbo cars, I understand you may not like imports, but honestly you just can't have it all (plus personally I find it a little close-minded, I'm a domestic muscle guy at heart but I have a lot of respect for a well-built tuner.)

Right now I'm looking at a Z31 right now ('84-'89 300zx), there's a standing bet by some guy in that community that he can get one into the 11's for $1100 or less. It's already been proven you can get into the 13's with them for under a grand no problem.

The 11's are hard to break into, or have been for me, and my GT500 makes 648 RWHP/599RWTQ. It's only been on the track 4 times and has street Nitto's and I haven't gotten there. A real "driver" would have better luck I'm sure. I got a feeling the mm wil get there b4 the GT500 will. BTW, I would make someone a heck of a deal on the GT500 if anyone knows anyone in the market. There are a couple of photos of it on my member photos.
