Went out looking at houses today. Started off at the new mall, with the dumb name: Crossiron Mills Mall. just doesn't roll off your tongue.

Going to the Bass Pro Shops I found out my friend is a gun nut who likes shooting, which surprised me. Also likes boats particularly the larger ones which I have mentioned before and ATV's, we had a look at some found one that said friend likes alot and may buy. After buying a suitable new car which is tow capable for the ATV.

We then popped over to the local houses I'm looking at and had a good look, second look, even more impressived with the place(s) now. Sure somethings need attention but I really really do want to get one of the houses there. Price is great, bit pricey overall but a very good deal. I will have to wait just over a year to have it built and the location is great, out in the country a bit but close to everything. Even will cut my Christmas commute time down by an hour which is great. I'm going up to see what I can get on Monday...

On the way back to drop her off she was complimenting me on my car and can't understand why I would consider getting rid of it. She likes everything about it. hmm maybe she will become a Marauder owner?

Maybe.

pictures to follow, once I upload them.

Dr. C is about 2000 feet lower than our lofty heights, but 150 miles north.

Furniture, no.

The island with granite table is.

This is the house I really like, but I forgot to take pictures of it.

Man, that really looks nice, get it.

Here's what would welcome you in North TX, I would LOVE a 45 degree day or night! Avg low temps can get into the mid 70's, we had a 15 day run at 85 lows, here's a shot of the high (note this was at a red light after running 70+mph on the hwy for 20 minutes), I want winter...

I'm not ready for winter yet. I was just enjoying summer, but we've had frost warnings the last couple nights. The sun is all gone before 10pm too. :(

I did a little google earthing. If you were to go South from where you are, to Bogotá Columbia as the crow flies; that is nearly the same distance North to Aren and I.

The house I like is even better than the pictures I have, I will take some more the next time I go up.

Need to go and talk to them about options for the build...The time line is a bit long though.

Mike Holmes in also supposedly building out this way soon too. That might just be enough of a reason not to buy here. But so far it has all been just talk and hype.

Who knows.

Holmes on homes are very different from these, more traditional houses.
