I have a 3/36,000 Ford Powertrain warranty with my Marauder.

I have changed out the PS fluid and the squeal kinda went away for a while but now it's back again. Some people might not notice it but I can hear it. It's defaintely not normal. I even used the "good" synthetic trans fluid -- but I still get some squeal at slow speeds in parking lots and whatnot.

What do you guys think. Also it's not really a fun job, I may take it to the Mercury dealer to have them do it if it's not covered by power train anyway.

Tips or suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

They covered mine. But the new one makes the same squeal.

They covered mine. But the new one makes the same squeal.

The power steering pump squeals, the air bag suspension pump rattles, and the exhaust rumbles on my MM.
So far the only repair was the A/C fan computer board replacement at 61,000 miles. Toyota V6 engines are blowing at 40,000 miles due to sludge. I hope my hot-rodding does not blow my MMs engine or trans, but I am changing the fluids regulary, so I can hope. Maybe Ford-Lincoln-Mercury will make another batch of Marauders but with the Mustang GT500 supercharged engine option. Then I can replace my MM.
