Will Brett Favre please just go away!
I am glad that I am not a Packers fan...having to watch this travesty continue.
I am really glad that I am not a Vikings fan.
He has destroyed all his credibility and most of his legacy.

Good news is that the RAVENS play the Vikings in October!...heh heh heh....:D

He is just a glutton for punishment, but if he is still healthy and good enough to be a good QB, I say go for it. I'm just glad Chicago didn't get him. I would have to go to therapy for mixed emotion overload.

You can imagine what I'm going through today. :bigcry:

Still love the guy, and to me he'll always be a Packer.

But for now; hope we kick the Viqueens azz this year. Oct 5th and Nov 1st are circled in red on the calendar....http://www.bloodydecks.com/forums/images/smilies/Kick_emoticon.gif

Exactly, I have often wondered how many times Da Bears would have made it to the Super Bowl if Bret had played with them instead of GB for 47 years or however long it was. THE best rivaly in the NFL, Green Bay vs. Chicago.

Wisconsin Governor Doyle announced he wouldn't be seeking re-election, and at the press conference he said, "but I won't pull a Favre on you.."

Im so sick of that primadona. In a way it reminds me of when Elway wimped out of the Colts.

Having Favre in Minnesota is like putting a Chrysler motor in a Marauder. Just plain wrong.

Hey...Isn't this thread from last year???.....

I'm hoping that Brett ends this season like he usually does:

With a crushing interception in the fourth quarter.

Tell ME about it, okay....;)

Actually, I can watch a Viqueens game now and really enjoy it:

If they get their azzes kicked, great, 'cause I hate the Vikings.

If they win, Good deal, 'cause I love #4 (always have, always will).

Only problem is twice a year when they play the Packers...:D

As a Lifelong Vikings fan, I really don't care about the retirement drama. The fact is, he is the last best chance for a Superbowl this year. They haven't addressed the QB position in over 5 years, and when they do, they go for a guy drinking metamucil. But, he almost got us there last year, only to break my heart again, and he is still our best chance (though I don't think it will happen) I welcome him back, and will root hard all season long. With 2 weeks to the season here were the choices

Tavaris Who, or Brett Favre? Easy Choice
Sage Rosesucks or Brett Favre? easy choice again. Doesn't matter how, or why they got him, he's the best chance.

And considering he had the best year of his career last year at 40, I think a pretty viable choice

You're a Viqueens fan?

I'm so sorry to hear that. (Another budding friendship shot all to h***! ;)).

Yup, but at least some friendly competition twice a year. At least I don't hate the Packers the way I hate the Bears.

Packers actually scare me quite a bit this year, I think that offense is going to be lights out
