A co-worker of mine is selling his Ranger if anyone is looking for a nice little runabout. I can vouch for this truck, it really is nice!

If you have any questions or want better pictures PM me and I will get them for you.

He bought it about a year ago from the original owner. I can't imagine there's too many diesel Rangers left out there!

i do not see a turbo. but its still a bad ass little truck. i would love to have it. but i just bought a motorcycle. those diesel rangers are rare. so im sure some ranger/diesel lover will buy it.

Ford used the 2.2L diesel designed by Perkins, purchased by Mazda and then contracted out to be built in a Mitsubishi factory. (what a mouthful!) until about 1984 iirc.

The 2.3L turbo diesel (as seen here) was designed and built be Mitsubishi and used after 1984 in the rangers. Not near as reliable as the Perkins designed engine, but still a good motor.

I had an 86 Supercab with the V6. It was easily the best vehicle I've ever owned. They were built well. Too bad the diesels were never available in the supercabs. Although back then, gas was cheap enough, and my V6 got good enough gas mileage that I probably wouldn't have wanted it.

It would be fun to put a BOV on one of those and rev at random cars at the stop lights :D

I never knew they even had a diesel model in America, learn something new every day...
