I have access to one of these motors through a friend of my 2nd cousin twice removed.

Can I put it in my Marauder?

Will the stock transmission bolt up?

What mounts would I use?

Can the rear axle handle the awesome amount of power these things put out?

I need an answer fast because it's on the back of a truck in front of my house right now!

And don't tell me to use search or nothing.

Give me the right answers right now you boneheads!

I demand SATISFACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sheesh...... rant over....

Direct fit, I believe it even has all the same sensors as our engine (little known fact!)

Should drop right in with a new wiffle valve, of course.

Any REAL mechanic wouldn't have bothered asking and would have just started putting it in already.

You'd have to remove your trunk organizer------but, yeah---should fit perfect.

Got to watch out for the wiper adapters but it should fit as long as you can shim the left side.

As long as you run the headers reversed you should have no problems

You'll need a new set of acessroy brackets, a remote fuel pump, and a Stage V water pump adaptor, and you may have to bend the steering shaft amd the left rear corner of the valve cover slightly to gain necessary clearance, but a little torch time and a few raps with a BFH should do the trick.

If this guy can put a huge Merlin V12 in a '55 Chevy, the Buick 455 in a Marauder would be a walk in the park.

Remove the stock engine and mount the Buick engine in the rear then you'll be able to do wheel stands of pure awesomeness!!!!

Good point.

Rich, dump the Buick engine, go with a Merlin, THAT would be an attentoin getter.

I read the "other" thread and now I get it!

I must be old because I just don't get some of the things some people do and say.

Should be an easy swap since both engines are V8s and run on gasoline.
