View Full Version : Hey MM BKK, Another 3.4 Whipple is on the Prowl

Another data point in the Whipple'd Marauder performance chart: a stock Cobra long block, 6.55" crank pulley, 3.5" blower pulley, upgraded plenum. Made 653 rwhp/565 tq @ 25 psi. He had to use race gas, he expected closer to 20 psi with this pulley setup. I believe he said it made somewhere around 720 rwhp with the nitrous.

Same pulleys I'm using but I only make 16-18 psi. I suppose my bigger displacement, porting, oversize valves, cams, stock inlet plenum is keeping my boost down to a level where I can run 93 octane pump gas.

So I guess that's the 3rd one now. I think this one was in the making for a while with crusher inlet and return fuel system. Hmmmm, I wonder whose could it be??? :hmmm:

Yeah, it's been quite awhile in the making. He finally got it on the dyno. And yes, it's Zack's.

Yea he's not so bad. Bought a car from him with a Red crystal grille, runs great. gotta post pics one day :confused:
