Ladies & Gentlemen,

I am a 63 year old grandpa, but I refuse to drive a grandpa car (Crown Vic/Grand Marquis).
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comhttp://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/ />

<FONT alt=I just recently purchased a 2003 Marauder 300B with 40k on the clock. Car is in very good condition except for the tatty paint on horizontal surfaces, as result of being parked outside in NC for 6 years and every neighborhood bird using it as an outhouse.

The car is totally stock.

Of course, I don’t leave anything stock. What are the biggest bang-for-the-buck performance upgrades you folks have used?

Thanks, all, for creating and maintaining this wonderful site!

Welcome aboard!!! I am up hear in Rome, Ga. If you are looking for some upgrades I would recommend Dennis Reinhart out of Jacksonville, Fla. I have an 03 300A with 50k on clock. Last year he put in a new tune for me which really perked up the car. I recently decided to go ahead with the vortech supercharger kit air to air. He has it now putting in on. Took down last Thursday. He knows these cars inside and out. That is why I highly recommend him. Good luck. Glenn out of Atlanta is very knowlegeable as well. I am pretty sure that is also his screen name on hear. He can also give you some options. Again welcome.

:beer:Welcome Bob

If you want to see about every Mod known ---- come join us on the third Saturday of the Month at the Cracker Barrel @ Delk Road 8:00am.

We have a pretty good turnout each month with a wide array of modifications.
You could check them all out and see what works best for you.

You probably are the closest to the Cracker Barrel of everyone. We regularly have people who come in from Alabama, Tennessee and beyond.

Hope to see you there:up:

Welcome to the collective ----

See you at September's breakfast and we can all tell you about mods. My advice is; CAI, UDP, EWP, SCT tune, TC 3500, 4:10 gears, another tune and then to the drag strip. Then save $6,000 and put a Trilogy SC blower on it or just skip everything I mentioned and go right for the SC and get the real thing. Recommend all your work be done by Scott at Team Ford - Atlanta's best MM mechanic. Your electric work by Jason. We'll explain at breakfast.

Welcome Bob:banana2:
Big +2 here........ I used to do most of the work on my Mustang GT myself. When I purchased my first Marauder, I linked up with the Southern Marauder group, (the 8am Cracker Barrell guys:D) They introduced me to Scott, and Jason and the rest was history.

Scott knows more about these cars than I will ever know, plus he does it right the first time.......... For me those are key elements, and oh BTW he's a great guy, and easy to talk with about what to do so that you get the biggest bang for your upgrade dollar.

Jason is a wiz for all things electrical and did an awesome job on my Laser blinders.

See? No need for me to do it anymore:lol: Gotta love it.
Hope to see you and all the other new guys this month @ Crapper Barrell:burnout:
