Time for Caffiene and Octane again, and I will be there again this month! Looks like I won't be the only 2009 Challenger this time, one of my Atlanta area Challenger buds will be there as well. Of course, we can count on George to be there before anybody. Come on Mike, make it this time!

Marty may make it (he has family in town) and I hope he brings out his newest member of the fleet, that awesome Duster!

The weather forecast is excellent! 0% chance of rain during the hours of the cruise in, mostly cloudy. Temps in the mid to upper 60's. Won't be over 70 until noon.

It was a great cruise in, big turnout. More Challengers than I've ever seen at this show. Seems like there were 2 of everything at least. Well, not two of the AMG CLK 63 Black Series, but I'm getting ahead of myself. There were two RR Phantoms there. Two Morgan Super Sports.

This mofo is HUGE (5622 pounds), but still can do 0-60 in 5.7 secs! Powered by a 453 HP, 531 ft lbs V12, it's whisper quiet. Did I say how big this 4 wheel luxury home is? It shoots $100 bills out the exhaust instead of exhaust smoke or fumes. Not really, but it's a fair bet the couple that was riding in it spills more on the bar than I make in a year. Speaking of that........There were two Blue GT's there today.... One owned by a great guy that has been buzzing around the ATL for years (Kirby) Straffing GA 400 with all sorts of muscle cars and exotica.

The other is owned by a real nice guy out of FL (did not catch his name) but anyways was getting on 285 to go home, and a Blue/white stripe GT passes in the left lane........

Get left as soon as safely possible and drop the hammer....... A couple ticks (right before the perimeter mall exit)down the road I have a clear bead on him....... He's about a half mile up..... Acura jumps between us to try and get on the GT's tail..... he drops the hammer and leaves him like he's standing still. All that time the Acura does not see me coming.....

I have it open to the right and pass the Acura while closing on the now slowed down GT. I pull up on him (now I know its the guy from FL, not Kirby). He slows and gets right..... He thought I was a Police car:lol: I pull up next to him and honk. He looks over and almost falls out of his seat (as he's shaking his fist at me laughing). He knew what I drove, but must have had that speeders concience kick in vs. examining the rear view. Any who...... we run for a little bit, but coming into Doraville and the Spaghetti interchange we slow and split..... he coulda waxed me if he wanted to (and he was not a stock GT either), but was a gentlemen considering the scare I gave him.

That to me is what a good Sunday morning is the car hobby is all about.

I spoke with owner a few months ago. They have gotten these in the country and are re-selling from a business on the NE side of Atlanta.

My Nephew in Orlando bought one of these last year from somebody here in Atlanta-----I couldn't figure out if it was the same guy or not. If you look at it closely it's pretty well ragged out--------My Nephew's car has been a real Money Pit.
