Got a link to it?

Is it an eddie bauer? Limited? I hope your not getting an XLS, you'll feel so strange going from plush leather MM seats to cloth base model explorer seats...

I see its a 4dr and not a sport though. The 4.0 SOHC isnt to terrible on power, the 4.0 OHV is a different story.

I think i've still got some 2nd gen misc parts floating around in my garage if you need anything.

GL buying if its a clean truck

Going to explorer seats from a Marauder wont make him gasp and curse. They are seats, it is winter, and it is an SUV..... doesnt matter.

I beleive thay had phased out the OHV by 99, but I might be wrong.

Sean, as you know, Aaron is endless with knowledge of explorers and rangers. If its close to us Im sure he wouldnt mind coming out to help look at it. check the body in the right spots. They are notorious for rusting from the inside out.

I'm sure it will be a good DD. Mine has been for 6 years and 75k miles. Although it is a little(who am I kidding Very) hard to drive it over the Marauder when the weather is nice.

Also you have things like 99-01 had a different front bumper from 95-98, 95-97 5.0's had different heads than 98-01 (98+ has the GT40 style heads and intake) and some other things as well between trim level's...

Sean - That looks like a very nice truck! As long as its solid underneath the price looks good to, Hell the guy we bought the 94 from wanted 2200  If its solid and you like it, i say go for it

yeah i think your right, OHV got phased out when they dropped the XL trim level and made XLS the new base.

But the leather seats in super cold sucks, I know all to well. Its like sitting on a hard block of ice

Was refering to the "4 well positioned speakers. I highly doubt from 95-99 Ford changed the placement of the speakers(friends 91 speakers are in the same spot as my 97). Eventhough there were numerous changes to exterior

Not mine. Was able to find a 01 5.0 Cheaper than a 97 5.0:cool4:

haha Sean, typical Boston car.

too bad man. There is a 95? GM in town with 115k on it. They have to be asking less than 1200 for it....
