But I do know this. That Camaro in the first clip had license on the side window. And to get an NHRA license the car must run a 9.99 with driver. So its a license pass.
Now if it ran it or not I don't know but one things for sure, the Marauder was there.
Just my take on it regardless of what was might have been happening under the hood.
It would seem we have a nonsensical thread.

I beleive that those are two different F bodies (i.e. they are two different cars). In any event, the license passes need only be 10.10 or better and a series of passes all must be made, not all of which must be full 1,320 foot passes.

Well, I'm new here and I certainly don't intend to cause a ruckus . I also agree that not all the passes have to be full 1,320 passes for licensing purposes but unless something has changed, 1 pass should be in the 9's. I do agree that it is two different cars as everyone has said here and the one he ran was NOT the one with the License written on the window. Nor does that particular car have to be slower than the other one. Regardless of that if any of those runs were possibly less than a 10.10 that Sherman might have made, in my book that would still be rather impressive - wouldn't you?

Doesnt matter what cars are on the track, and who is licensed to go that fast, and who is not. At any test and tune day at the track, a 9 second car can line up against a 17 second Saturn wagon.
