View Full Version : T Bolt Tribute goes to the track!
Took her to US 131 Dragway tonight. She went 12.18 at 110 mph tonight. 60 foot was 1.83 as it had bad traction problems. I weny thru the traps at 6500 on the rev limiter. The water pump gasket let loose on the starting line just before my 4th pass. No major problem to fix that.
The Greek God came down and watched plus a couple of other friends. I had a great time tonight and am happy knowing how much I gained over last year. This car was in complete street trim. It will be in the 11s very soon!:burnout:

Great Pops are getting ready for SSHS9?
Mark I am bringing the Fairlane for the car show and run all day. The GM will be lacking items to make the rules. The GM does to the track next. Time to sort these cars out. Have to also thank Sherman for driving advice!

Hack is much better at this kind of work. Watch the comments on my reaction time guys!:sleepy: I hope to get better at that as the 4 speed is creating things that are faster than my old slow feeble mind!;)
Paul Casey I will be ready for you in Atlanta! I think we need to do a Pro tree as the big equalizer on this challenge!:P
Ok guys we have it fixed now so enjoy my glory!:burnout:

The war is on Now RR! Jake we have to do a heads up race. Which car do you want to run? Both of them are faster than your SNAIL!;)
It dosent matter how fast you are if you can't stay awake long enough to drive. :snore:

I will get better. Right now its more about learning how to drive the car. The reaction time shows up when I need it!:D

I've gotta defend John on this one....It was very hard to cut a good light and to run consistent times in my T-5 speed 5.0 Mustang...
let alone a 4 speed Toploader with a 550+ HP Big Block in front of it.....:bows:
I was not trying to cut good lights. There are a lot of things to sort out on this car first. When thats done the reaction times will come into play. The GM is way easier to drive the the Bolt. Besides Ithe reaction time did improve. The first one was .8, second .66 and then I had the .4. You gotta love it!:sleepy: :shake: :help:

Hell, you have nothing to apologize for.
You could stage that car and back out of the lights and it would still be cooler than any other car there!!!!!!!!
I like a good ribbing Marty! No apology comes from me. Just need to push the hot button on the trouble makers as it will be my turn if they have guts enough to line up with the Bolt!:D
