This tour from my understanding is supposed to be a replay of the '77 Alive tour with the same track list and stage show.
Wow...I haven't seen these guys since 1978.
I had pre-ticket sales opportunity and got two in not so bad locations.
Pantheroc and I are going next Monday.

No Ace, no Peter.
No KISS.
I mean, as a drummer I can tell you that Peter's playing is pretty vanilla and he hits 'em pretty weak...therefore he is a pretty replaceable drummer, but who's gonna sing "Hard Luck Woman"? But Ace is irreplaceable on guitar and who the hell is gonna sing "Shock Me" now?
And trust me when I say KISS is an important band to me. I've always loved 'em, but I'm a traditionalist. Kinda like Van Halen only being good with David Lee Roth and AC/DC only being good with Bon Scott (both are true to me).
I'm sure it'll still be fun though.
Speaking of fun...I did a punk rock KISS tribute for the Beachland Ballroom Halloween show back in '07.

No Ace, no Peter.
No KISS....
They have been gone for nearly 10 years.
I don't believe that's really an issue at this point.;)
