OK, so I got the bug, who doesn't?
Called Reinhart and asked to get one overnighted to my tuner so he can get it installed for this Friday, track rental day. I'm also expecting my Spartan CA's by then too.
Wonder what my new times will look like.

Glen, I got these, and they stick like nobody's business. I have a hard time spinning them, even after the water box. I get no spin, even at a 2k launch. Think I need a line lock, damnit.

Rob a bank over there? I wish I could justify to myself to go all out on the Marauder. Good luck at the track.

Running 16" CVPI rims, 255/50/16 tires. Revs per mile and tire dimensions adjusted to run these.

Thank you for the order, it will be there tomorrow. And the shipping was not that bad, it will help the car, and your 60' time

225/50/16 - not listed. You mean 255/50R16. This tire has a 26" dia. Just curious why you did not go with the 295/50R16 with a 27.7" dia. Are you throwing an ABS light?

effectivly it would lower the final drive gear ratio. on a blown car i would think you would probably start to run out of gear???? :dunno:

You are right, I do mean the 255/50/16. Didnt want to risk putting 295s on a non-widened rim.
Light not coming on, and they are drag use only tires/rims.

I run 255/50-16 bfg drag radials, effective revs per mile are 775. If you have 4.10 gears it will give you an effective 4.43 rear gear. With stock 3.55 gears it will give you an effective 3.89/3.90 rear gear.
At least on mine I found 16-17 psi to be good, not sure what brand tire you went with.
I went from 14.19 to 13.72 with use of the 16" drag radials and both runs were with a 3.55 stock gear and 3500 stall converter. Higher stalls love shorter gears.

I have a P.I. 3000 Stall with 4;10 Ford racing gears & am really happy with this set up. I think the 3500 stall torque converter is just too loose for daily driving especially with the standard differential. Good Luck. Kenny.
