View Full Version : Need Help Finding a Dodge Part

We have a '92 Grand Caravan ES, with ABS and AWD, and the master cylinder is leaking. Apparently this feature combination was rare and finding an appropriate replacement master cylinder has proven to be horrendously difficult. That, and for the only one that was even thought to be located, that asking price was $1100. All other similar parts found seem to cost in the $175-$350 range. Anyone know where I could find one for a reasonable price?

My source for Dodge parts shows two master cylinders for the '92 Dodge Caravan, one is $149 and the other is $162. Shoot them an email and see which is correct for your application. The contact is Jeff Poole, Parts Manager, Wyckoff Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Montvale, NJ

If that has the combo master cylinder abs modulator relays then you're looking at the $1,100 price more likely but let me see what I can find for you here in NY, perhaps I can atleast get a part number and shoot it over to you.

I'm pretty sure it does have the combo. And we're really hoping that it won't cost that much. The van itself isn't even worth $1,100, so it's kind of hard justifying the expense.
