View Full Version : The paint finally touches (Not MM related)

Some may have seen my post about paint tips.

Well I finally got 2 wheels prepped to paint and it worked out to finally spraying them.
Ive only got the 1st coat on 2 of them, finish up tomorrow, then clear.
Then the other 2, just a little prep work, then they are ready to paint also.

Just a few teaser pics, Im getting exited to get them on the truck! :beer:

They will look pretty good on the Ram.

whats the prep like when doing this, what kinda paint do you use?

prep was 320 grit sandpaper, then 400 grit wet, then scotch pad, and tac cloth.


Paint was Mopar spray can of factory color.

Are you going to put any kind of clear coat as a sealer on them?

yeah.... clear coat is going on last. Didnt get any time tonight for anything.... I went out looking for my mom's cat whos been outside for 6 days now. Hes usually only outside for an hour or two.

At lease I found him.

Car show tomorrow, so maybe sunday I will paint some more.
