I have attached a general overview of "Exhaust Systems" LTs vs Shorties by Richard Holdener in his book "Building 4.6/5.4L Ford Horsepower on the Dyno". The pros and cons of LTs and Shorties are discussed to some degree on NA and SC engines.
Interesting statement made that "LTs make less of a difference on SC motors then on NA motors". LTs make more HP on NA engines then SCs.
