Is anyone using injection. I will hopefully be getting my kit on this weekend. Any feedback will be appreciated.

I would caution anyone using Meth. It requires a very good professional tune to run right. Also, many engine builders question the chemical reaction the Meth has on the fuel system and engine. I have seen too many expensive forged engine go under with Meth. Several which have been kept close to the vest on the reason why.

I've been running Meth for 5 years. I've installed several kits on other cars and assisted in tuning them. Its pretty easy actually. Meth dosn't have anything to do with the fuel system. Its a stand alone.

I hate when people just keep repeating the same internet fodder.....
I have Meth injection on 2 cars and ZERO ...0....did I say zero...problems. I'm not a nascar mechanic but know my way around an engine ...I have seen no internal corrosion or any of the crazy symptoms that people claim Meth causes.
If the world was dead flat and stayed at a perfect 72 degrees year round we wouldn't need meth..but it doesn't and there is only so much your computer and tuner can do to keep you out of trouble on those hot days when that Mustang pissed you off and you want to show him whos boss...usually after your at a light idling gettting your underhood temp up and then you give that supercharger a big gulp of super heated air.....

I have the car tuned without it.
Then I add the meth under boost for a safety margin.
Works excellent with no ill effects on the blower in 3 years of use.
The issues that are sited for meth "problems" usually involve tuning to the max with it, then a failure in the delivery of meth.

That is what I have been told dont work it into the tune strictly INS policy under boost!

It also helps to cool the blower down.

Exactly! But most folks don't want to install it just for a "safety factor", they want to get some additional power from the mod.

I have been running meth in my mustang for 4 years now.. It is easy to tune for and even with no tune it will lower your ACT's for added insurance...When I boost my MM I plan on running the meth if needed...Now if you have a tune for meth and the bottle runs out without you knowing and theres no type of timing retard within the tune based on your ACT(IAT) then there may be a problem of engine failure...Set it up right and have fun..I run a kenne bell 5 liter, on 85 degree days my ACT hit around 210 or so..With the meth i was seeing 120 deg when into boost and it was still falling...

Btw, My car picks up 70rwhp with it and a bit more timing vs no meth.
AND by using meth the intake, throttle body, and heads are VERY clean.

I was planning on running with my regular not overly aggresive tune, and on WOT only.

Rich, that would be only on a Eaton type blower right??

Correct
A a snail would be on the outlet side of the blower.
But there would still be a significant cooling effect.
So = WIN!

Excatly what I thought! My reasoning for wanting the meth kit is for the simple fact when I upgrade my motor I want to run more boost and the Vortech will begin to create to high of IAT for me so just like we discussed simply acting as a ins policy.

I would not run a boosted car with out it.
But I'm stupid, so what do I know?
