There's also an Eagle talon with aftermarket rims on it, a wing, and "Talon" stretched across the rear left fender to trunk that works the SR 37 area. This is an unmarked state police car. There are many Mustang GT's in use by Indiana State Police. The sheriff department has a DBP CVPI unmarked unit (looks identical to mine w/o the spotlight) that works up and down 146th street where the hotel is. and 146th street in Noblesville IS a gigantic speed trap

I drive in Indiana at least twice a month, I have never had any problems with the fuzz. I just keep a eye out, drive under 10 over the posted speed limit and it is fine.

Now Ohio, that is another story. I hate driving through Ohio.

A word of caution for out of state drivers traveling in Indiana........beware of revenue stops. We usually go out of our way to avoid driving through the state for this reason. They use a lot of unmarked cars. The one that got us (on a really bogus technicality) was a pink Cougar. ;) Take it easy out there!

I lived there most of my life and never heard of it.

Ill be traveling with one of the NYPD. I don't think Ill have a problem unless they wanna be a prick and not extend a courtesy.

I wonder what department rule you have to mess up to get assigned to traffic duty in the Pink Cougar? ;) I wouldn't irritate the guy 'cause he probably ain't happy about being on the Mary Kay patrol.

BTW -- Last week I saw the police in Prince William County using a red Ford F-350 dually pick-up for traffic stops. Lightbar behind the cab and in the grill. Would have never suspected that one.

Never had a issue in Indiana, VASCAR is heavily used though, for the ones that depend on a radar detector. All police plates expire in March and LEO's need not worry as it is a very LE friendly state.

Just F.Y.I., I.S.P. Troopers are traveling with some tractor trailer driver's, so you might
want to keep this in mind ,as you travel through the Hoosier State.
ISP also use Mustang GT's in their pursuits.

Be Safe while in rotation!!!!

That wasn't a highway, so I made it out to be a drifting course. ;)

I'll see you soon Ken. The next event will be around before you know it.
