Am I the only one they know of that:
Is losing his hair?
Needs drugs?
Has a small"member"?
Can't please his woman?
Needs a date?
Needs the "blue triangle".?
Has a porn addiction?
Needs to refinace?
Is too stupid to know if his spouse is cheating?
Wants illegal cable?
Free access to PPV programming?
Needs to lose weight, quickly?
Needs more muscle?
and the list goes on...
How the heck do they know all this stuff, My credit card is on fire!
Which reminds me..
Needs credit counseling, too?
I'm sick of it!
Rant offically over now.

It's not just you. We have something called an Add Rotator that connects before I connect to the internet. It controls pop-ups and is hidden somewhere in the programs. When I find it and destroy it, it will be a very happy day.

I get about 75 a day in work. I though they knew me with the products they're trying to sell me. LOL RAY

I'm not the biggest fan of AOL, however, I only get a spam e-mail about once a week, and I can't remember the last time I got a pop-up!
I have AOL 9.0 if you were wondering.

Don't forget all the ads about all those hot women who want to sleep with you.
Oh, maybe those only come to me . . ..
They are even IM'ing people now. I get "check out my live webcam" about 3 times per day at work and home over IM.
I've never been so popular . . ..
Oh, I mean

FYI Google has a tool bar that can stop pop up, and if you have other stuff roaming on your pc adaware and spybot search and destroy work great too.

That google toolbar works great, so far it has blocked 364 pop ups for me over a couple months.

I have been reporting SPAM to SpamCop (http://spamcop.net) for some time now. It seems to reduce the amount of repeat spam I get. Another benefit is that I feel like I am doing something about it.
SpamCop basically does what I used to, look up the senders ISP info and report the message to them. It is a lot easier using the service.

Microsoft Entourage has an option called Rules. It lets you specify a sender's email address and select an action like "Move to delete folder". From then on any more email from them goes directly into the delete folder. I'd guess most mail programs have something similar. Each morning, I just empty the delete folder. Now only one or two a day get through to the inbox.
