Well why I had the MM in the garage working on the headers I left the trunk lid open and smashed it with the garage door. The little metal lever on the door hit the top of the trunk lid and scratched down the rear face of it next to the emblem.

My buddy has a buddy who does mobile paint repair and he came to my house and fixed the trunk today. While i had him here doing that I asked him to do the S55 treatment to the tail lights and reverse light housings. Here are some pics of the almost final product, next weekend he will come back and wet sand the newly painted areas. Also some pics of the wife's G that got the front bumper painted at the same time.

I must admit, the SB's always looked the best with the S55.

Ya it looks off in a couple of the photos but it was due to the light late in the day. In person the color is spot on. This guy is a pro, his normal job is doing this at high end car dealers.

Thanks David, wanted to give you a call but was too late when it was finally done. Wife was sick all day from a night of extreme drinking so I was up till 5:00 in the morning and back up at 10 to meet this guy. Needless to say tonight I'm getting some rest. I'll give you a call in the next few days so I can show her off to you.
