Yup. A Jet Ski. With a real Jet engine. Why do I get the feeling somebody will say "Hey y'all, watch this!" when they ride it?

The sign said they hadn't run it... yet. 1400 hp on the GE jet engine. Going for some kind of record for a jet ski.

I think they were looking for volunteers. They expect it to be the fastest, but can't find anybody fool enough to get on it.

That thing cannot be ridden the way it is. You would have to be strapped onto it, even your arms would have to be strapped to the handlebars. And a cockpit would have to be built around you. One small wake would send it airbourne and reentry onto the water surface would probably disintegrate the hull.

If anyone goes for a record on that thing they will have a serious accident. Even speedboats that are designed still crash doing 120. It's all about the wind and the waves.
It will be a deadly run no matter what.
