With all this talk of you guys in the 600/700 club with Lysholm/Whipple Blowers is making me envious. Me being in Cali maybe there's hope.
Looking at a Dennis Reihnhart Vortech Kit for the Marauder. It uses a V2 S-Trim like the one below.

^^^He's running 10.1cr like I am but all E85 @ 16lbs:eek:. I wonder at what boost I would have to run my setup to get 600rwhp. Just a slight glimmer of hope. Seems so far away since my build is taking forever:bigcry:

Shouldn't be a big problem to make 600 with the increased displacement and forged bottom end. It'll probably be around 360-380 NA, put 16 lb boost on it and you can add at least 200 to that. The hard part is ROK (Republic of Kalifornia) premium gasoline is 91 octane. You'll need 2 tunes, one for pump gas and one for race gas, probably 520-550 on pump gas and 600 on race gas.

Actually, I have a VP gas station in Tracy that has 95/100 octane. They want a left kidney for it but at least its available. I'd be happy with a daily driver at around 550rwhp and 600+ at the track. I will have to wait till spring at the earliest to start thinking about this again. There are a bunch of used S-Trims out there for cheap...that be an option.

I wouldn't daily drive a 550rwhp beast, that's asking for so many tickets lol.

Yep sure do, I prob won't drive it all through this winter though cuz I don't have the money for another set of 18s. On the days when the road is plow'd though which is 70% of the winter around here she'll be driven even then ;)

I'm the same, although certainately not 600 hp or anywhere near it, if roads are plowed, justbob cruizes. I just wash it a lot.

I am now taking the Train in to the office...will run NA for a bit.....just salivating with all the talk about 600/700rwhp...MM.
If I do purchase this spring and that a big "if" I will run at 10lbs of boost...so we shall see. It sort of nice to know with a little effort/modification I too can be at 600rwhp+...LOL Time to look at a daily driver I can take to the train station and leave/take to the office when need be.

I was chatting with a guy from Antioch Ca on corral.net and he has a similar setup (w/o bbs or head port) 98 Cobra 4.6 4v Ported Intake, PHP Spacer, Ford GT Cams w/ S-Trim at 12lbs and making 487rwhp at 6650rpms! Tuned by AED. So I should be at around 550+rwhp at 12lbs/91oct and over 600+rwhp at 100oct for sure!
