I think you have a good idea. I found out the hard way at the track. You kinda look like a shmuck getting a boost in line at the track.
Let me know how you did it if you do.

im no good at electric man. pops took care of that part for me. my electrical ablitys consist of extending wires, sodering, and putting jugs on. bout it. when it comes to circuts and stuff, im lost

I ran my pump and tran cooler fan to the ignition accessory.

If your going to use a switch, you will need a diode in line to prevent feeding voltage back the other way and energizing the accessories on that particular relay.

You could hook it to the "hot in run" or the "hot in run or acc" circuit.

That's what I would do along with a manual override switch installed to use at the track and such when you don't want the key on.

I take mine to quite a few outdoor movies. The problem I have is constant running of the pump with the key on, so i've just been yankin the fuse at the theater for now. PITA to reach though.

Sounds like you're connected to the "hot in run or acc" circuit and would be better off if connected to the "hot in run" circuit.

Thanks, it is, I originally just hooked it up per directions of the Trilogy book, and that is how they showed it. I plan on rerouting it come spring along with the next goround of goodies.
