Some states may already have these laws in place but Louisiana just implemented them.

1. All vehicle occupants must buckle up.
2. Drive in right lane only on multi lane roads, except when passing, or turning, or traffic conjestion.
3. No Text messaging while driving. Cell phone use OK.
4. Keep three feet from bicycle riders when passing.

Happy motoring.

Humm... food for thought. Would I get a ticket for improper lane use if I lined up with a Dodge Chally at a stop light? Not if you beat him.

Another case of big brother stepping because of peolple having the lack of common sense to respect others on the road.

I bet you didn't know you could drink and drive in LA until about 15 years ago. Baton Rouge had drive-up Pina Colada/Beer stands everywhere where you could drive up and get a drink and throw a case of beer in the trunk and drive away. Did it many times before the law changed.

We still have Drive thru Liquor stores in certain areas here in south Fl. I'm quite sure you won't be able to get a drink thru the window, but no problem getting the whole bottle for a little higher price than typical.
