Different intakes, upgraded turbos and intercoolers will be hitting the marking soon for the SHO.
I give it less than a year for a 500 + whp to be running low 11's or high 10's.
I agree birdman. :burnout:

Love it! The GM boys on my camaro forum are already whining about it.
All of that performance out of a V-6 I can see why :bigcry:
wait till they come out with headers for this thing.
I keep telling everyone FORD ain't fu@k¡n around :bows:

The car is twin turbo lol, it's not going to have performance headers.
Hennessey will be offering a performance package for it so that will be interesting to see what he does with one. Roush should make one!

Well Ford already said if they put the EcoBoost engine in the V6 Mustang it would be really undertuned but still ending up around the 400hp mark lol.
With more tuning, bigger turbos, an intercooler and some other do dads it's going to be a nice sports sedan.

I sat in one last week. I had to lower the seat completely, and move it back as far as I could, and I still had trouble getting in/out of the car.
When it was back, you could see 5-6 inches of the seat track. The seat was very hard and small compared to the Marauder. Another feature I didn't like was the trunk opener in the middle of the dash. I would have to get that disconnected. That's like leaving our trunk opener unlocked ( there is no lock on the Taurus ).

why would it be, a sedan thats advertised to be fast, and actually is fast?
Most of you forget, at one point marauders were 40-45 thousand new, and compared to the SHO look how well those did.... or didnt do... Maybe thats why I got to see two brand new 04's on a dealer lot in the summer of 05
I just saw a black SHO today outside of town, looked great

Maruders listed for $35K but real world was $27K-$28K......don't think a FORD V-6 no matter how SHO it is will bring $45K...at least not from me!!
I do remember those days when Marauders were marked up, where I live they actually sold but I did spot a new SB 04 on a L/M lot back in 05, i remembered how much I drooled looking at it all wrapped in plastic sitting next to the showroom.

I really respect the mechanicals and especially the 12 second ET...but I saw a Taurus SHO at Carlisle....they are friggin' HUGE!
(AND they look like a big fat Camry.....:puke:)
(AND they run in the low to mid 40s....$$$$$....)
I like what FORD is trying to do, but I will wait until they drop 600 lbs and $10,000 off of the SHO.

Local dealer is getting one in about 2 weeks, black, loaded with every option and MSRP is around 45k. I will be going to look at it.

I guess you werent paying attention when elena ford called for the prices to be jacked up. 04's were MSRP at 40-43 grand.. Which is why they sat on dealer lots
I have seen mm's go faster boooooooohahaha
And I've seen alot of things go faster than MM's... Including Taurus SHO's!

Great, great car -- I tried on down in the quad cites. Listen: There's one place where the SHO has the Marauder beat: The interior: It's really quite stylish with lots of soft-touch plastics and nice leather. Not the hard plastics and fake carbon fiber that fastoon our interiors. The shifter and center console sit nice and high giving the driver the feeling of sitting in a high-tech cockpit. I say: nice job, Ford!
