Ugh, I've been an AMC fan for a long time...lot of nice cars rotting away in there no doubt. I like the Ambassador SST I saw, and I wonder if he'd make me a nice deal on a Rebel?

I had a '73 Gremlin, it was not stock, I'd love to have it again. The cars in those pics look like crap assed Embassadors, Concordes, Matadors, and maybe 1 decent Javelin body.

It's basically a junk yard, and he favors selling the entire car over parting out.

What's hassle?
Not sure why this bothers anyone?
Seriously????

Looks like there might be some restorable old iron in there. Too bad, I liked some of the AMC's. My first car was a 1964 Rambler Classic 660. I always wanted to get an Eagle couple and modify it. AMC had some crap cars too I'll admit, but everybody did.

I'd give my left nad for one of those AMC Rebel Mahines. Or a red, white, and blue 390 AMX.

I wouldn't mind having the Pacer wagon to make a real sleeper out of,and that Hornet 2 door sedan would make another nice sleeper.
Did anyone else notice the Corvair out there? And the Lincoln Versaille.

Yup, +2.

Some of those cars didn't look too bad, if they're NC cars, prolly just surface rust with a solid frame an panels to work with, maybe not bad project cars; I've seen worse.

Oh man! Thanks for posting up the link, Bradley. After reading about the GremlinX, I noticed a slight stirring in the loins...;)

Obviously you've never run up against a 240SX with the Sylvia motor in it properly tuned. :burnout:
The Sylvia motor was a Japanese home market only motor that's been brought here and installed in a lot of 240SX's (illegally in most states) and it makes a very big difference in what the 240 will do.In CA they have to find a smog inspection station that's willing to take some $$$ to "pass" it.

Looks like those cars are moving slow. AMC had some good cars.Hopefully some of these will be saved before the restoration cost becomes too much.
