God I was close to the 13's. Didn't happen. Today was 1/8th mile because the track was cold and cloudy I was told (lame). Late in the day they let us run (2) 1/4 mile runs.

I ran (2) 1/8 mile runs at 8.9680 and 8.9770 - on my 1/4 mile of 14.0250 I ran a 1/8 mile time of 9.03 - so technically I would have run a 13.9
My dial for the 1/8 was 8.95..

:argue:

Nice day. I ran a 1/4 mile again after the 14.0250 and again ran a 14.02.

Ugg. So close... Had fun car was running great, I need to do the J-Mod and then I'd be 13.9's consistently for sure.

I ran this with all mods in my Sig!

Keep up the good work man!

I remember trying to break into the 13's lol. I went 14.19 to 13.72 with 16" drag radials and Zack's tune with stock 3.55 gears (effective 3.95 gears with 16" drag radials). I could of sworn I actually ran slower but to my surprise and almost tears of joy in my eyes when I saw my time slip lol.

I don't need drag radials! I was hooking up fine - I only have 3.73's! No need for drag radials yet!

Thanks everyone for the congrats! I was trying. I'm now #89 on the list. Couple people said they loved the looks of my car..
I'm 0.003 behind Impala Slayers time.

Wasn't suggesting you did need them but their of smaller diameter which increases your effective rear gear. I went from 3.50 with 255/55-18 to 3.95 with 255/50-16.

If you ran the 16" drag radials with your 3.73 gears on 245/55-18 tires it will give you an effective 4.103 rear gear. With 4.10 gears on the 16" drag radials it will give you an effective 4.51 rear gear.

I'm #80 on the list, one or two more good mods and you'll get past me for right now. God I want my 4.10s in NOW!!! lol

Yeah they be smaller but their not going to give you the traction you want at the track lol.

lol! :D - I thought you were selling me those aeros!!!

You need Dynomax Super turbos:

Partnumber / Dimensions /Overall length / case length / pipe size in / pipe size out
17748 4 1/4 x 9 3/4 25 1 20 2 1/2 2 1/2

Fix that 60 ft time, and you've got a 13 in there. Add control arms. That's all you need to do to hit a 13. The addition of headers may not do the job alone. You'd need to hike that converter to over 3000 stall and put on headers to bust into the 13's consistantly. Control arms are a fraction of that cost.

I ran 13.60's @ 100 on

Tune
4.10's
PI 3000 single disk
SW Longtubes
Custom 2 1/2" exhaust
K&N CAI

I also had widened wheels with drag radials...but I think the benefit was very negligible. My best 60ft with those N/A was 1.98. I never put on control arms until I was supercharged. I honestly believe they would have given me a full tenth at the least N/A.

Hope this helps.

Cool Matt - thanks for the tips. I've heard people talk about how the arms help, I will try and do those next. I also need to do the Jmod. I want the car to be quick and fast but I don't want to loose any driveability/luxury/quietness.
