For those of you who have known me since i joined, remember this thread?

http://mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=35742

My how time flies, because that truck as of today is no longer ours :(

Got traded in today with 55k miles, for a 2009 SLT yukon, which is almost a twin of the tahoe in GMC form.

Reason for trade in? When we got the tahoe, we ended up paying like 25 grand for it (42k truck minus rebates, minus 10 grand for the 03 yukon w/ 100k miles). Well of course when the warranty ended, out come the GM electrical bugs! The drivers door sensor would think the door was open when it wasnt, and the window switches on the drivers door would die at times as well. Also, the ENTIRE interior, every freaking door panel, would vibrate and squeak when it was cold or going over those PA dirt roads.... Lovely GM upscale interior! :censor:

So basically, this new yukon with a sticker of 48, minus rebates, minus 26 grand from the tahoe = 4 grand for a brand new truck...

Now to this

2009 Yukon SLT

Pros:

Bose audio system
Black interior (screw that light flint crap :P )
Sunroof!
new 6spd transmission

Cons....

No 2nd row captains seats :depress:

The bose system totally kicks ass, makes the marauder sound subpar and the bronco sound like total crap (but thats because the speakers are exploding :D ) I think the PCM needs some calibration time because the shifts were pretty delayed. The steering felt better than what i remembered on the 07 but the gas pedal is even worse, still TBW lag, and it is harder to press now...

I like the Tahoe front better, but how many miles did you guys rack up on it?

Your K5 which has been previously supercharged, stolen, then repainted? :D

I liked it in flat black, looked badass  Not to say it doesnt look good now though.

I do to, i think it looks more aggressive and sharp where the yukon is softer, but its not ugly...

we traded it in with 55k miles...

Nice ride Ryan. Think your mom and dad will let you drive it:lol:. I loved my Sierra till it turned into a rust bucket. I guess you can only get so far on reconstituted Honda's and Toyota's. I never had any real electrical problems. My GMC had fuel delivery issues from time to time and exhaust systems every two/three years.

That explains the Pickup you have now, built from scrap WW2 fighter planes :D

10 years from now your titan will be reconstructed into the 2019 GMC sierra :P

I would take that over a crappy titan any day of the week!
Only old ladies and closet whores drive titans.
And seem to love the color "PINK"

It was always that color silver until about a year ago.

Yes it was supercharged, stolen, crashed and rebuilt. Last three in the same year... That thing has been put through hell, like anything that get's near me.

Enjoy the new truck. Trucks are fun, as Mr. Man knows. ;)
