gear swap

I,m going to be swaping out my 3.27 gears for a set of 3.73 for my 2006 P71 is there a trans gear that has to be changed to correct speedo or is it as simple as plug,n in the x cal 3 and selecting the new gear ratio? any help much appreciated Cheers

the xcal will only correct the speedo and not the shift points

ok sweet so i can just change it with the xcal then thanks as far as the shift points go cant i just leave them the way they are? the car has been tuned with the 3.27 and it shifts nicely

Yes shift points will be affected and you will require a tune.

another trip to the dyno after gear install i guess $$$ the old days were so much easier just swap out and go
