I know I'm biased, but this is one great looking NASCAR racer. I like how it has a real front and rear end, not decals or paint.

Can you name the ford car that uses their 351 iron block NASCAR motor? How about the new purpose built FR9 motor that they built?

Yeah, this might bring back some of the old-school NASCAR fans who've recently been turned off (myself included).

Me too. COT has contributed to wrecking NASCAR. Interest is so low even Bristol doesn't sell out any more.

According to this article the Dodge will have a more realistic front end than the Fords, Toyotas and probably Chevys (they will use sloped noses with decals). I think NASCAR should make them all use front ends based on reality.

+2 I've been a big NASCAR fan since moving down to the Carolinas in the early 90's, but that's really started to subside in the past two years.

COT = B.O.R.I.N.G. :sleepy:

Seems like once somebody gets out front it's almost impossible to get past him, that's not racing, IMO.

For now these are only for the Nationwide series. Sprint will still be using the COT.

Maybe the Nationwide series will become more popular than the Sprint series? And I wonder how long before it changes names again? Winston Cup, Nextel Cup, Sprint Cup... Sprint will probably sell out soon. The whole NASCAR racing series is losing its identity.

Maybe they could go back to using ALL of the factory sheet metal!
Not likely but I still play the lottery every once in a while too!
