Wow I had a good birthday weekend. I got a 182 piece set of tools that I really needed to do the brakes on my K5 tonight. I got some cash and am going to spend $100 on records so that'll give me a lot of new... eh I mean old stuff to listen to. I went racing on sunday and with old oil (3,300 miles on it) and pump gas it still did 12.4, but I was hoping for 12.1 at the other track. I guess it really needed that oil.

Also the halloween shows I played were so much fun. The Cramps tribute band was insane. I actually asked our singer to be drunk or do drugs to pull off the role and he did great. He started drinking when he woke up and did a line in the bathroom right before the set. He did that stuff all the time anyway, but I really found the right guy to be the singer... I felt like I was in my favorite band of all time. It was the best feeling I had in a long time.

Watch the video and look at us, especially the singer.

The band was so hot we got an encore, but we didn't know any other songs! We played all ten that we knew. I suggested we get down 13 just incase, but everyone was too lazy. So when we were asked to play again we just winged it and played Tear It Up, the same song in the video. We did it great. Just like the video we extended the song and our singer that I found was completely nuts. You can see he has the same pants and almost looked like the singer he was supposed to be that evening. It's probably the only time the five of us will ever play together. I completely HATE the bass player (even to a point when we didn't talk at all during practice, nada) and the other guitarist is... well, I don't like her anymore either. We all sucked it up and played a great show though.
