DTRMiguel just sent these pics to me from some dumb a$$ that was in the parking lot of his job. This guy took off the FORD sign :eek: and put a CHEVY sign :eek: in the place of it and put the SS logo :mad2:on the back of his Crown Vic. I mean seriously someone get the tar and I will bring the feathers....:flamer::mad2::arg ue::censor::puke::lol:

I really don't understand why people do that, that's like putting the "GTR" badge on a Mustang or an Escalade grill on your explorer, do they think nobody knows any better?

lol this reminds me. there is a verizon service truck around here that has a bowtie on the front. its a mid 90s body style FORD.

I don't get it either....:dunno:

I saw a Chevelle at a car show with a Big Block FORD engine in it!

All the Chevy guys were going ballistic and crying "Foul"!

I kinda liked it because it showed the Chevy guys why Ford guys hate seeing a Mustang with a SBC in it.

BTW: Years ago I went to a Ford show and a guy pulled in with a sweet looking red 427 Cobra.
Everybody was drooling over it and kept asking him to pop the hood.
He wouldn't open the hood for about an hour.........then he finally popped the hood to reveal.........a 350 SBC.
Everybody groaned and walked away......:shake:

I took the rebuilt 400 pontiac out of my Firebird Formula (for which the 400 was a non-original but correct engine) and replaced it with a 350 chevy, and none of the pontiac guys will talk to me any more. I like cross brand engine swaps just to piss people off.

No I'll keep the mod motor, it is a good runner. I still want to paint my wheels white with sparkle flakes in them so they are like friekin frosty jewels. If I am ever to show up to meets, I do not want to look like everyone else
