I live in slidell which is a city right next to new orleans and last night we were getting the outskirts of tropical storm IDA . Living on the water doesn't help any either because it floods so easy by my house . So I went to sleep thinking "ehhh it's just a small storm , nothing will happen" . Well I was wrong . I woke up around 1:00 AM , looked out my window and saw the salt water not even 2ft. from the marauder . Of course as i think all of us would do , I hurried up and moved the car out of harm's way by pulling it up to the main highway (hwy 90) . It was a close call and not even an hour after that the water was almost 1ft. deep where the car was . Dodged a bullit there , but it wasn't over . We still had 15 three wheelers (yes i meant 15 , we collect them) , 3 four wheelers , 4 dirtbikes and 2 motorcycles . Everything made it out safe and sound thanks to my cat like reflexes . Next time I won't underestimate the weather .

Glad you saved all the toys along with yourselves. Sounds like a close call. I went through your town once.

Thanks . I'm sry to hear that you passed through here lol . It's just a bit boring here in slidell . I would like to try and start making it to all of the meets that everyone has because I haven't even met one person with another MM .

I own a building lot on a canal in Eden Isles (Slidell) I'd like to sell.
