It's official "Fab Fords Forever" event at Knotts Berry Farm in SoCal.

For those who wish to stay the night prior to the meeting place in Santa Nella the hotel is offering a discount rate of $59 for Thursday night and they will offer there secure court yard to park your cars in.


(Heading South on HWY 5 this will be the first Santa nella exit and the hotel is on the right hand side off the freeway.)


Meeting up at 6:30am and leaving by 7:00am


We will cruise and stop for gas and lunch at:


Lost Hills
Exit (CA-46 Lost Hills/Wasco)
Gas (Chevron, 76, Beacon, Texico)
Food ( McDonalds, Jack in the box, a Wendys, and Dennys)


Its 131 Miles from Santa Nella (2 hours) We will stop for 1 hour
(Clock starts as last car pulls in, Please keep your hand held radios on you for departure notifications)


From there we will continue to the grape vine and stop at:


Grapevine Petro Truck Stop
I-5 at Laval Road West
5821 Dennis McCarthy Dr.
Lebec, CA 93243
(We will stop for 35 Min, Clock starts as last car pulls in, Please keep your hand held radios on you for departure notifications)


There we will meet up with the other leg of the cruise from HWY 99

Dave and Buster's in Milpitas we are having a GTG also dyno day at AED both on January 24th. If you want to go let me know I can fill you in on the information.

I went last year and enjoyed it. Unfortunately there was 100+ temps. Really unusual. But I can guarantee that you will see hundreds of every type of Ford you ever dreamed of. There is lots of great food nearby at Knott's Berry Farm and I highly recommend Portillo's a few blocks east of there.
A fair chance that we will go.

If you go to the show I have a couple of comments.
1. Eat at Portillo's. They have genuine Chicago style hot dogs plus burgers, salads, etc. It is on the street that runs by the north side of Knott's and it is reasonable. You can walk there from the car show in front of the mall. It was my favorite place when I lived in Chicago.
2. Saturday, the 24th, there is a car show at the NHRA Museum in Pomona. We are planning to stop by there.
