Anybody installed a 2003-04 Cobra blower on a Marauder and have a list of all the parts necessary for the conversion?
Any issues with the parts fitting or clearing the frame, etc?
thanks

I also was interested in this blower setup, I have a chance to get one at a steal. Has anyone done a detailed how to on this. If I can help in anyway I would be glad to do so. It sounds like a great alternative to the high dollar kits.

Can it be done. It can be done. It has been done. I know of two up & running Eaton Cobra conversions. One by the one & only Zack. The other by Impala Slayer. The alt & tensioner brackets can be had by Gortch. Impala Slayer can make you the ones for intercooler res, the inter cooler pump and the little spacers used to mount the fuse box.

hello there. I would like to chat sometime on this conversion. I have the blower, intake intercooler, lower pully.
How did you relocate the alternator?

Guys--Is Gortch a member or a company that makes parts?
Thanks

I wonder if the smog guys would pass this in Cali? There was another Marauder up in Santa Rosa CA that was getting a Kenne Bell will have to ping them to find out how it went.

I could be wrong but I would think it would be the same swap as doing it on a Mach 1. This should give you almost everything you'll need

Oh 1 more thing I dont know how serious you are about doing it, but check svtperformance.com and in market section there are sometimes guys selling everything you need as they will do a turbo setup and have to have a 4v pre 01 intake setup. Also I seen a swap kit for sale in ebay. I use to have an 03 Mach 1 then I decided against it and as you can tell from my sig I decided to just buy the real thing, lol.

Not the same. That method require swapping out the timing cover which is PITA (for some people).
Although the end result is the same. A factory Eaton M112 on a 4v like the 03-04 Cobra.

Would anyone be able to post the schematics for the two brackets, so I can have them for my archives?

My question is, couldn't you just use cobra brackets instead? I was looking at mine and it seems like that could be done also.

No, they are totally different and the Cobra's alternator position is low on the driver's side so the frame has to be modified for it to fit.

the one thing that i did like about this is how the dude took out the time to do a detailed write-up with full materials and procedures. Ive been looking on here for some time and i haven't found anything like that for the eaton swap. This would be very helpfull for the less mechanically inclined (not mechanically ignorant) people who dont have a performance shop nearby. Would somebody mind doing all of the inquiring minds a service and write up how everything is done...........PLEASE
