It works good except it wont cover all the precincts in the NYPD. The limited ones they do cover are offline. The plus is that I can listen to the NYPD Highway patrol.

I think that is the same link that used to be the old ScanAmerica site. My friends like to get drunk on their front porch and listen to that while I'm at work.

My friends need to get a life.

COOL as hell...gotta keep it low...those tones can jump out at ya!

I used have a scanner...listened to it all that time cause that's how I roll ;)

Its amazing all the crap that goes on during a single day. #1 call and complaint.... Pot holes on the BQE. 4 cars disabled. How typical!
There was also someone reckless driving right in my area with a white bronco and some dude banging on his GF's door with a knife.

This gets addicting quick.

Good to listen to before leaving from work to check if there is any accidents lol.

One call at 8am this morning was of a male and female making load moaning sounds and then a solid 15 mins of screaming and crashing sounds lol.

Lot's of difficulty breathing (mostly fire/rescue and some police), a few allergic reactions, 2nd floor fire with instructions to open the walls and ceiling....a few MVA's with Ct Light & Power pole numbers being noted....a possible white Honda blocking a couple driveways, elderly difficulty breathing with instructions to "force the door"....

Yep...real addicting...

I dont know if you were in chat but i remember back over the summer all we'd do is sit in cvn flash chat and listen to teh police scanners... i think one time we heard a gang rape lol

Ive got a uniden 396digital unit here and i lisiten to the OPP alot southern ontario what i have found out is everyone with a cell phone at hand while driveing on our roads is a RAT peeps are always calling 911 to report a posible drunk or a high miler or someone gave them the finger as they past,,,pffff what a bunch of whine,n tree huggers Get out of my way Granny and get a life P Talk about a nanny service = OPP
