One happy Pop-Pop

Yesterday morning at 9:45 AM, my great-grandson was born. He weighed in at 8 lb, 9 oz and 21 inches long. He's a handsome, blue-eyed, brown-haired young man. Docs gave him a clean bill of health . My grandaughter had a pretty rough time, but just told me she is feeling OK. Audri, his Big Sister, has been great and is already looking forward to "teaching him all he needs to know":) As I held him in my arms this morning, I was overwhelmed by the fact I have lived to see a fourth generation expanded, have all our children and grandchildren around us, have a loving wife who has put up with me for 57 years and will celebrate my 81st birthday on the 27th with both Ginny and I in pretty good health. I don't know how to express our feelings of happiness and thankfulness for all these blessings. And I have a Marauder to keep me young :D Maury and Ginny

There is no way you can understand how much this outpouring of good wishes means to us. A group of people from all over the country, many of you I've never met, took the time to congratulate us and share our joy. I have really missed attending the last 4 Maraudervilles--I know the friendship and fun you experience there. I hope to make at least one more--even if we have to have it here;). MM.net has provided me with hours of pleasure since 2002----and I hope for a few more.
Oh yes, they finally named the baby---Bradley--I like it---I hope to have pics by Friday. Baby and Mom still doing great--coming home tomorrow. Can't wait to take Brad out in the Marauder and let him feel a few "g"s:burnout: Thanks again, Maury
