Shelby F-150 Super Snake

Shelby insiders have been wanting to build a performance truck for years, and finally Carroll Shelby said OK. Unveiled during the SEMA show at nearby Shelby Automobiles, two versions are available for 2003 to 2008 Ford F-150s. There's an appearance-only kit at $15,995 (installed) and a $29,995 version with a 475-horse Ford Racing Whipple-supercharged engine, Baer Brakes 6-piston 14-inch-diameter front brakes and front brake-cooling ducts. The aggressive scooped hood sets the Super Snake theme, which continues through the exterior styling, 22-inch wheels and lowered ride height, and into the optional vented bed lid and two-tone leather interior. Attitude is the new truck's main attraction, which will be available starting in February 2010.

looks killer but kind of steep on the price. Figure high 30's for a brand new nicely equipped F-150 plus another 30k for the top Shelby package, so about 70k for a 475hp F-150.

Its a nice enough truck but frankly Shelby would put his name on a can of pork and beans if Libbys paid him enough.
