Working on new a new logo and then a new website.

Ok, I got the first round of logo ideas back from the designer and I am going to throw them out there to see what the input is. I told him that I was wanting to totally revamp things and to start from scratch with his own ideas. He has another set that he is working on right now that are completely different and there will be even more to come.

What I need to know is the general opinion on how everyone feels about the direction he is heading on this set.

Please remember that they will obviously look MUCH different when color is added and they are cleaned up. These are the most rough draft of the very basic initial ideas he has so far and are only designed to represent an idea of a direction, nothing more.

I am going to completely step back and take myself out of this because it has become crystal clear to me that I have less than a 0% idea about any of this stuff. I need to rely on you guys for input. You are the "target market" so what counts the most here is what you think about what you see and the impressions you get from it.

It might be easiest to refer to them in any feedback as a number. Number them 1 through 8 starting with number 1 at the top left and working left to right across each row until you end up at number 8 which is the largest one on the bottom.

The first post in this thread was made in another thread that didn't have a poll. I decided that a poll woudl be a good idea so I made a new thread and merged the 2. Because it puts posts in chronological order when a thread is merged it put his post first.

I like the darker green like your avatar and I think the word "automotive" should be bigger. Maybe curved to follow the inside circle... awesome look though.
