It's probably not the best place to post this, but I'm kinda interested in getting some reflective inserts. But I'm not interested in the $64 asking price for SS inserts.
Anyway, I saw these:
http://www.bobwhitedecals.com/Marauder.html
And was wondering if anyone's ever used them. If so, I'm looking for a review. I understand the whole "ya get what ya pay for" rationale.
And I hate to be a cheap-ass about it, but I just dropped more than I wanted to on Christmas presents for everyone and money's tight. Figured I could rationalize spending $30ish but not $60ish on myself...

I found mine for somewhere between 15 and like 22 bucks on eBay, it was the gold-plated set from SS inserts. I think they were closing them out though and you'd be hard-pressed to find them again there. :(

I've had the SS inserts installed for over 5 years now, never had a problem with them. Don't cheap out, get the SS ones.

Well, I ain't gonna finance crap I don't need, s'pecially for a car that's sitting in the garage 'til next year. Looks like it'll be my birthday present to myself in April.
Good to hear from ya, Al.

If you want something besides metallic color (chome/stainless) go with the Bob White decals. I had them on mine in red for awhile but got tired of it and switched to the SS Inserts.

And I think FAST MERC has them too. I think you're right. I just mentioned Jerry's car because we've done a little cat 'n' mousin' on 480 and other highways, and that's really where it was catching my eye.

Form my point of view:
I've had Bob White reflective RED on for almost 7 years now and no problems--love the reflective thing at night---
I've had the SS inserts installed for over 5 years now, never had a problem with them. Don't cheap out, get the SS ones.
That's why we have choices--to each his own
Don't be a "cheap-ass"...get the SS inserts already!!

No necessarily--once again --it's your opinion and it's just that--, that's why there are choices--

So , see even he^^^^^enjoyed them for awhile, and like mentioned, there are choices which he choose to try differently--so there ya go--opinions you asked for--good luck........

Marauderman, you wouldn't happen to have an up-close picture of the inserts on your car so I may see for myself, would you?

Whatever inserts you go with remember preperation is the key to long lasting inserts. Clean the ares really really good. If you think it looks clean, clean it one more time. Use Q-Tipsand rubbing alcohol to get in all areas.

These are Bob White decals in reflective black, the camera flash simulates what they look like when light hits them.

That's my Marauder in the top two pictures on the website. They look as good now as they did when we bought them and this photo was taken 6 years ago.

I have the SS inserts now but I think the black reflective ones are tough,
I might stick some over the SS for a while.
