I had a '85 LTD/Crown Vic like that with almost the same story, one owner,35K miles, garage kept,$2200, sounded like a real buy. It looked new, but I've never spent so much money on a car.As soon as one thing was fixed ,something else. I fixed the oil leaks just to have them reappear in a year and half. The most annoying thing were the doors freezing closed in the winter and having to be pryed open especially if it iced. This was due to the wide space around the doors and water getting in the cracks and freezing the door seals.O K I guess if you live in Arizona. I might have just got a bad one,I don't know. Was glad to see it go.

I really like those 80s TCs'. All it needs is the turbine wheels (loose the wires). Fuel Injected 302 should run for ever!

i'm not familiar with the town cars but i've owned 3 different box vics/marquis and i loved all of them. they are great daily drivers.

but a car that old with so little miles is bound to have things break on it once you start driving it regularly. i'd actually be looking for somthing thats been driven.

Yeah I found a clean looking 03 P71 with 83k, only $3000.. I'm really feeling a higher mileage police interceptor for a daily.

I would kill for a Lincoln LS sport though.
