I have about 37000 miles on my MM, I have been using Motorcraft 5W-20 Premium Synthetic Blend Motor Oil Ford WSS-M2C930-A.
I want to change this oil to a Mobil 1 0W-20 OR Mobil 1 5W-20.
now the book say i should only be using 5w20 lot's of MM owners uses 0w20 i dont know which one better, i live in the chicago area and it dose get cold some time. and even if you go with 0w20 can change it back 5w20.
Thank you all in advance

I always look for 0w20 but have recently only found 5w20, same stuff. Only difference is cranking temp. But they are both way into the below 0 range. Buy a 5 qt thing at walmart with a seperate single qt and a filter and ur good to go.
I've used both back and forth, no problems.

0w20 = harder to find than 5w20.
I'd go with 0w20 if you can.
I wouldn't say better.

bawazir, use whichever oil makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. Your car will NOT know the difference. Seriously.

+1. I have been using the Motorcraft 5W-20 Blend for the past 6 years. Alls well.

I currently use Mobile 1 5w20 or 5w30 depending on the season. As soon as I run out of it I'll be switching to Motorcraft synthetic 5w20.

Dude, you need to learn how to capitalize and use proper grammar. You sound like a 3 year old.

Do you really think Motorcraft makes their own oil? I bet it's the same as Mobile 1.

dude i live in chicago on cold start motorcraft noooooooooooo protection and mobile fullly syn go the protection u need.,Sorry my friend, but you are completely wrong here. Motorcraft 5W-20 is one of the most robust oils on the market and delivers extremely good performance in the Ford modular motors under all conditions. Just look at the large number of UOAs on BITOG showing exactly that.
BTW, it's MOBIL...Mobile is a city in Alabama.
Do you really think Motorcraft makes their own oil? I bet it's the same as Mobile 1.Motorcraft oil is made by ConocoPhillips and is the same as their TropArtic.
