NO I think chip will be find. Aviator is an SUV not a truck:) per sez. Should ride better than a "truck"

If you can swing it then do a service on the aviator, tune up all filters, flush all fluids.

This is to be expected.
The truck weighs in excess of 5500 lbs or so.

We have however gotten 13mph hauling a Marauder on a 2500 lb trailer at 80 mph with it.;)

Didn't hear you say that you liked it. Not developing a case of buyer's remorse are you? Just turn up the radio volume and put duct tape over the gas gauge.

I am sure that the Silver Bullitt is not lonely as long as Mr. Man has the keys. I'd be checking the mileage every day. :P

LOL. I wish. My '06 Harley F-150 get's 13.1, and I don't even try to calculate the MPG on my MM, though it's probably lower than that. All I know is I can't park under overhangs or drive thrus and leave the car running for long periods of time without getting nauseas(sp?), looking at the car from the outside you can actually watch the gas fumes come out the pipes, lol.

Been daily driving my new (to me) Aviator for a couple of weeks now. (BTW the color is Gold Ash Metallic.....thank you RoyLPita!) Anyway, there are several differences between my Marauder and Chip that I need to get used to. First, it's a truck with a roof rack and therefore has more interior noise. Then there's the issue of being aerodynamically challenged. And most distressing, I can actually see the gas gage draining down as I drive. :eek: Getting about 15.1 MPG.

On the up side, I'm not putting anymore daily wear & tear on my Marauder......but I do sort of feel bad pulling out of the driveway in Chip, and leaving the Silver Bullit behind. I wonder if he feels betrayed....or lonely....or jealous? LOL
He probably feels "SPECIAL", He now has time to relax!

I dont get much better on the MM, maybe 15mpg. Gettin about 9 or so on the L with a little boosting here and there. Got 16 out of the Lightning on my way home from buying it ,215 miles from home ,all Interstate:flamer:
