Ha, Ha, Ha ..... I'll be in the US Army's corner for the game; but I am pretty sure that I know how this one will turn out. 110 years of rivalry.

Here's the website >>>> http://www.armynavygame.com/

The Midshipmen have captured 10 of the last 12 meetings, including the past seven, to grab a 53-49-7 advantage in the classic rivalry. The Mids current seven-game winning streak is the longest in the series by either academy.

Do the math 52 +1 = 53 Charlie that is from the web site yesterday

49 Army wins
52 Navy wins
7 ties
1,579 Total Navy points (14.76 average)
1,384 Total Army points (12.93 average)
Navy holds a 22 touchdown advantage over Army.
Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy
Another proud tradition of the academy football season is the competition for the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy, awarded to the academy (Army, Navy or Air Force) with the best record after playing their two counterparts. The award is given to the prior year’s winner in the case of a tie.
The trophy has been awarded to Air Force 16 times, Navy 10 times, and Army 6 times, with 4 ties. The President of the United States often awards the trophy himself, and President George W. Bush has held ceremonies at the White House for its presentation each of the last few years. Navy currently holds the trophy (winning the last five years); Army’s last win was in 1996. The 2.5-foot-tall, 170-pound trophy is topped with three footballs that rise above figurines of the mascots of the three academies.
In Philadelphia

80 games
at Municipal/JFK Stadium: 41 games, Navy led 22-16-3
at Franklin Field: 18 games, Army led 11-7
at Veterans Stadium: 17 games, Army led 11-5-1
at Lincoln Financial Field: 4 games, Navy leads 4-0

Whatever. You must have been looking at an old site.

49 Army wins
54 Navy wins
7 ties

49 Army + 54 Navy + 7 Tie = 110. Yesterday was the 110th meeting.

Navy continues dominance of Army with eighth straight win

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Navy has turned sports' most patriotic rivalry into one of the most one-sided.
The Midshipmen did more than extend Army's series misery in the 110th meeting between the two service academies, they denied the Black Knights their first bowl bid in 13 years.

Ricky Dobbs (FSY) ran and threw for a score to help Navy beat Army 17-3 on Saturday for their eighth straight win in the series. The loss ended the Black Knights' chances of playing in their first bowl game since 1996.

GAME REPORT: Navy 17, Army 3

"There won't be a greater feeling than being able to beat Navy and just be able to go a bowl game," Army quarterback Trent Steelman said.

It's a feeling that will have to wait.

Dobbs set an NCAA single-season record for touchdowns scored by a quarterback with 24, and threw the go-ahead TD to help Navy improve to 54-49-7 overall against Army and take its biggest lead in a series that began in 1890.

Navy won the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy, awarded to the team with the best record in games between the three service academies, for a school-record seventh straight year.

"This isn't the biggest college football rivalry in sports," Navy coach Ken Niumatalolo said. "This is the biggest rivalry in sports."
