While chatting I asked what he and Karen were getting each other for Christmas. He told me they decided to turn the presents to each other into pre-paid phone cards to be distributed to our troops who are sacrificing so we can enjoy our freedoms.

I have some terrific friends: God bless you Harry & Karen. :bows:

Some friends have a son in Iraq. They have me collecting car, boating and hunting magazines to ship over. The guys love the reading materials and they get passed around to everyone. The phone cards idea is good! A drive for them has been started here in South Haven. The other thing they like is bags of licorice. It holds up in the heat!

Him and Charlie are the first two MM.net guys I met at my first CAM doo. :)

That was July or August 2004 as I recall. Time does fly doesn't it?
