...of "ICE" while in Nashville TN yesterday morning and afternoon.

Charlotte and I loaded up the kids and headed out for a short 170 mile trip southbound to see this display behind the Opryland Hotel.
This year's theme "Peanuts", all made from approx. 2,000,000 lbs. of solid ice, is housed in a building with temperatures holding at 9 degrees F.!
Parka's are provided and you bring your gloves. Hot Chocolate available in the gift shop after the tour, which I took advantage of considering we were in there for about 40 minutes.
The kids had a great time sliding down the solid ice slide and walking around looking at all the ice sculptures.
I decided at the last minute to leave the camera in the car due to the frigid conditions, and glad I did.
Charlotte managed to get a few pics from her cell, and was advised to not keep it out too long as it will freeze up. According to one of the staff members.
If anyone has been entertaining the thought of going to this, I recommend doing so.
Well worth the price of admission!
Mike.
