Yup. As soon as my wife gets home, I'm off to the gas station to fill up the ole F250 and 5 gallon can for the snow blower.
Defyant Marauder is resting comfy in the garage safe from the nasty elements.

10 inches of the white stuff here already. Still coming down at a rate of about 1 inch per hour. Forecast says it'll be moderate to heavy until 8 PM tonite then taper off after that. Predictions are 18-24+ inches in my area.
Weatherman is comparing this to the February 1983 (in NJ then) and the Blizzard of 1966 (in Baltimore then).
:snowman:
I am hoping some kids show up to shovel my driveway. :D Guess they don't do that anymore since XBox, Wii, Nintendo, IPhone, etc. got in the way.
I could make $100-$200 on a day like today when I was 12 years old. That was REAL money then.

Bob Ehrlich was the first Republican governor elected in the quasi-California state of Maryland in 33 years.
(2/3 of voters in Md. are registered Democrats)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Governors_of_Maryland
Ehrlich got voted out of office because he was "Pro" slots/gambling....now guess what???
As soon as Martin OWE'Malley got into office he claimed that maybe slots/gambling was a good idea. Imagine that.
Now he has totally 'F'd up the slots initiative; we don't have any casinos,
few are planned at the horse racetracks where the casinos were supposed to be located,
and we have no gambling revenues to help minimize our HUGE state deficit.
Marty has taken dramatic cost cutting actions....he has furloughed a couple hundred state employees,
and he immediately gave us a higher state sales tax!....and who knows what's next.....
Off of my soapbox now...360 V8.
That is a 'baby' FE engine!
Drop a 428 crank in that bad boy along with a set of Edelbrock heads and you will have a very mean '410' V8!!

360 Truck
360 truck engine configurations and applications ;
2V, 8.4:1
215 bhp (160.3 kW) at 4400 rpm and 327 lb·ft (443 N·m) at 2400 rpm
(1968-1971 Trucks)
196 horsepower (146 kW) net at 4000 rpm and 327 lb·ft (443 N·m) at 2400 rpm
(1972-1975 Trucks)
The 360, of 360.7 cu in (5.9 L) actual displacement, was introduced in 1968 and phased out at the end of the 1976 year run; it was used in the Ford F Series trucks and pickups. It is a destroked 410 with a bore of 4.05 inches (102.87 mm) and the 352's 3.5 inches (88.90 mm) stroke.
360s were also constructed with heavy duty internal components for truck use. Use of a standard 352/390 cam for use in passenger cars along with carburetor and distributor adjustment allowed the 360 to give performance similar to that of the 352 and 390 car engines. Rated at 215 bhp (160.3 kW) at 4200 rpm and 375 lb·ft (508 N·m) of torque @3600 rpm (2-barrel carb, 1968).

Made it in to work this morning without TOO many problems. This was a mistake. Not all the secondary roads have been cleared too well. Even Route 1 in Fairfax has some places where only one lane exists and it is covered with ice and snow. Roads at work have been cleared but NONE of the parking lots. Had to shovel a hole to jam the MM in. Few people even made it here this morning. Just got word that we aren't even supposed to be here. :D So I will hang around and goof off for a while and let some of this crap melt a little before heading home. Will have to play it by ear tomorrow 'cause I am not fighting with 200 people for that one space that I dug out today. Don't see too many plows operating around here either. :P
Be careful out there charlie.

A little bit of snow got on my MM but what a PITA it was to shovel out my driveway. Have a snow blower but doesn't help when it's a gravel driveway and 20" of snow just laying around.
