Picked up my new Daily driver just in time for the snow.

Today I picked up my brand new 2010 Ford Fusion SE. Of course its going to snow the first day with it!! :mad:

I got it with the 4cyl and 6spd auto. It has the mono-chrome package which blacks out the grill, adds 18" gun metal rims, rear spoiler, special interior and dash board pattern and sport suspension. This option just became available last month. I also have the sync, sunroof and backup sensors.
I absolutely love driving this car. Just wish it was a nicer day to really enjoy the drive.
This car replaced my beater crown vic, I still have the Marauder!

A buddy of mine just got a Fusion for a company car...he has always been a truck guy......and a GM guy at that.
I saw him last week and asked him about it....He loves the Fusion.

What are the specs on the 4 banger.....looks like a DOHC? HP?

Thanks for the compliments! Its a 175hp 2.5L DOHC I4. It moves really good for a 4cyl, In fact it moves a lot better then my Crown vic did with more engine.

I wasn't a fan of the huge grill either but that mono-chrome package really made the look of the car. That package is only available on 5 colors so it makes the car unique.

Not a big fan of the Fusion chrome grill turned up to 11. But this looks great in black, it only needs tinted windows.
If they where available over here I would by the Fusion Hybrid, looks much better then the Mondeo

I sold the crown vic in a record 10 minutes off craigslist. I made the ad, posted it and within 10 minutes, I had 2 calls. The guy came, drove it and paid me more then what I paid for it almost 2 years ago. The car was extremely reliable, I was just tired of showing up somewhere in a beaten up car.

new fusion looks sweet paul! I sat in a 2010 in the showroom and it sure does feel really well put together, looks way better than the first gens to.


But you know the problem is, now you cant crash into things for fun like you could in the crown vic :(

I saw a huge snow bank that I know I could level with the CV. I now have to drive around them lol

I would love a SHO but that would force me into selling the Marauder and Im not ready to do that anytime soon.

Yeah its great in the snow with the traction control. I pulled my crown vic out in the snow and got stuck in the driveway. I guess it was a sign that I needed a new car.

Good color choice! The monocolor grill looks good. If I had more money than I knew what to do with (which, of course, I don't) I would buy exactly that car for a daily driver. I read a review on the the fusion sport and it was very favorable. Enjoy!
